KCR’s Classic Car Restoration Process

To complete a restoration, choosing the best body to start with is key. We begin each classic restoration project with a complete disassemble, stripping the car down as much as needed for the work to be completed. For a total classic car restoration project, this means completely breaking the car down to the bare shell; we have a specialized rotisserie frame to gain access to all sides of the project. We then have the body media blasted to remove all paint and rust, providing a solid base for beginning the classic car restoration process. With owner input we decide what parts we save and reuse, and what parts are best replaced during the restoration process. We order the parts from our classic auto parts suppliers, and get busy doing any necessary work while the new parts are in shipping.
